Your grassroots support makes Will’s campaign go!
Boston - July 29, 2011
Boston City Council At-Large candidate Will Dorcena’s campaign launched its website earlier today.
Will promises a campaign that promotes the wellbeing of the city as a whole and investment in the people of the city and their quality of life. He says, “We need someone who will solve our city’s problems, not just throw money at them.”
WillDorcena.com emphasizes the cornerstones of his campaign - “quality education, safer streets, good paying jobs, open government and great service.” The website goes into further detail on these five points, emphasizing the need for strong city-wide leadership to move Boston forward. “We are happy to launch this website so that Boston’s residents can learn about my values and hard-working nature,” said Will about the new website.
Will has been an active and positive community leader since growing up in Uphams Corner in Dorchester. Will has served as a trustee of Roxbury Community College, a trustee of Boston College High School, president of the Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative board of directors, and deputy executive director of the host committee for the 2004 Democratic National Convention in Boston. He is a small business owner and entrepreneur and lives in Hyde Park with his wife and daughter.
